Training in Israel at IKI
I have joined the Tour & Train Program in Israel with Moshe Katz and Esther Lehman twice now. Training in Israel at IKI was beyond my wildest expectations. Before I came to Israel I felt something crucial was missing in my life, I was looking for a certain quality to help me grow. Learning krav maga in Israel has always been something that I wanted to do, I heard so many great things about Moshe Katz so the decision was made and I traveled to train in Maale Adumim, Israel.
I did not know what to expect when I arrived at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, Israel. Esther Lehman was there to pick me up at the airport and the first question she asked me was “do you know how to change a tire?” “IS THIS A TRICK QUESTION?” I asked myself… But no, she really had a completely flat tire.
First day Training in Israel at IKI was a reality call, I realized that I had stumbled upon the real deal. Real krav maga self defense techniques with honest krav maga idealism designed to teach people to save lives. I felt so excited and wanted to soak up everything about IKI Israeli Krav International techniques and I realized that I had found what I was looking for. Training was intensive, we trained for at least 10 hours a day and yet it was incredible fun and invigorating. All IKI techniques are based on concepts developed by Moshe Katz, Israeli Krav International.
Everyday we crammed so much learning, even the touring was learning. We toured around Israel to important historical places where we learned all about Jewish tradition, history and culture and their connection to Krav Maga. We learned so much about Jewish history and idealism, the backbone of Israeli Krav Maga, the Jewish warrior and Israel’s fighting spirit.
Running my security company in Alice Springs, is a very responsible position. I have to take care of my men as well as the community safety. IKI techniques has been so valuable to us, we feel more shielded and protected. I feel much better, when I send out my men on to the streets, I now feel more sure that they are able to protect themselves. I have been teaching my team of men since then IKI Krav Maga and they have proven themselves on the street.
